I am an enthusiastic and professional Website Designer, I enjoy being part team and is quick to grasp new ideas and concepts. I am able to work well on my own initiative and can demonstrate the high levels of motivation required to meet the tightest of deadlines. Even under significant pressure I feel I possess a strong ability to perform effectively. I am always Keen to achieve further professional development. My strengths lie in XHTML/CSS hand coding, web usability, accessibility and promoting good working practices in front–end web development.

Experience

Web Coordinator, UNITE Group Plc, Bristol, May 2009 - Present
Since 1991, UNITE Group has pioneered and specialised in the expanding and economically resilient student accommodation sector. We provide homes to some 36,700 students in the UK. My role is to manage and update the content of the student website for UNITE using Interwoven Teamsite CMS system, as well as doing HTML emails, animated (Flash and GIF) and static banners, Microsites and landing pages.

Senior Web Designer, Binary Studios, Bradford–on–Avon, Wiltshire, Dec 2008 – January 2009
Binary Studios is a Web Design and Development agency, during my time here I worked on projects for Lloyds TSB and HBOS, creating and maintaining the Intranet website using Interwoven Teamsite CMS System, as well as working on a HTML newsletter for Binary Studios to go out to clients and an internal email for Lloyds TSB.

E–Store IT specialist, Milestone LTD, Marlborough, Wiltshire — Oct 2006 – Nov 2008
Updating, editing and maintaining the companies UK, Holland, Ireland and Swedish Website using Venda CMS and E-Business Coach CMS systems, Creating graphics for the websites and user manuals for products, Designing and creating html marketing emails, Creating affiliate banners and advertising, and packaging design.

Responsibilities include:

This job was very fast paced and I have had valuable experience in a hard commercial environment where there are four different sites to manage and maintain in different languages.

Sales advisor, Comet Group PLC, Cardiff, South Wales — 2005-2006
The main role for this job is dealing with customers, stock checking and processing payments. The main job was to look after the customers needs, direct them and advise them on a product that they needed and make sure they at the end of the day the customer goes away happy with the product they bought.

Head of E–commerce Applications, Cottingham Consultancy, Cardiff — 2005
This job entailed, building websites using xhtml, css, along with website management. This only lasted for 6 months due to the company not having enough funds at the present time.
