What you get with Clay & Play

Your Clay & Play session gives you everything you need to get creative in the studio, including 800g of clay, access to our studio tools and equipment, and a workspace to make at your own pace.

Want to get on the wheel? You can pre-book a pottery wheel for up to 3 hours. You can also explore our slip-casting moulds for an additional cost per cast, with studio glazing available to finish your pieces.

You can have up to 2 pieces from each session fired in our kiln, and you’ll have a full shelf to store your work for up to 1 month, giving you plenty of time to come back, carry on creating and make the most of your studio time.

As you become more confident and get the hang of developing your own projects, you’re welcome to bring and work with your own clays and glazes, which can be stored on your shelf.

Need more firing space?

We also offer kiln hire for makers who have larger projects or need additional firing space. Choose from our studio kilns for bisque or stoneware firings, with half and full kiln options available.
