We love bringing clay together with other makers, painters, chefs, florists and creatives to create unique, one-off experiences. These special workshops are designed to be enjoyed, learnt from and shared.
Tapas & Tableware
Create beautiful tableware and discover the art of tapas.
Led by ceramic artist Bryony Applegate and Great British Menu Champion of Champions, Amber Francis, you’ll create a marbled porcelain tapas set of three bowls and a serving platter, choosing your favourite colour combination. Amber will demonstrate two tapas dishes, sharing professional techniques, while you enjoy four seasonal tapas and receive recipes to recreate at home. You’ll also create a jar of marinated goat’s cheese, choosing your own herbs and spices.
Enjoy complimentary bubbly, tea and coffee, with just 4–6 guests per workshop.

Pasta & Pasta Bowls
Handmade bowls for handmade pasta.
Create two handmade stoneware pasta bowls while learning the art of fresh, egg-free pasta making with ceramic artist Bryony Applegate and Great British Menu Champion of Champions, Amber Francis. In this intimate 4–6 guest experience, you’ll hand-build and choose the glaze colour for your bowls, before enjoying a freshly prepared pasta dish served in handmade ceramics. Take home two pasta recipes and new skills to recreate at home with your professionally glazed bowls to follow. Enjoy expert guidance from both Bryony and Amber, alongside complimentary bubbly, tea and coffee in a relaxed studio setting.

Pudding & Pottery
Elegant desserts, handmade ceramics and chef-led techniques
Spend an indulgent afternoon creating two marbled porcelain pudding bowls with ceramic artist Bryony Applegate, while learning restaurant-inspired dessert techniques from Great British Menu Champion of Champions, Amber Francis. In this intimate 4–6 guest experience, choose your favourite marble colours, then discover how to build texture and balance flavours through Amber’s lemon set cream and chocolate pot demonstrations. Create and decorate six handmade chocolate truffles, choosing your own toppings, and take home mini versions of both desserts. Your glazed pudding bowls will be ready to collect after firing.

Paint Your Own Baubles with Amy Pozzilli
Join painter Amy Pozzilli and Applegate Studios for a festive evening of creativity, colour and Christmas spirit.
You’ll be given a set of three porcelain baubles, already bisque fired and ready to paint. Inspired by a beautiful seascape theme, Amy will guide you through her painting techniques and help you bring your own designs to life using a selection of ceramic underglazes.
Once you’ve finished painting, Bryony from Applegate Studios will take care of the final stage, applying a transparent glaze and firing your baubles to give them a beautiful, durable finish. They’ll then be ready to collect in time to hang on your tree this December.
No previous painting or pottery experience is needed, just come along, get creative and enjoy a glass of Prosecco while you paint.

Cheese Tasting and Platter Making
Come for the clay, stay for the cheese.
An indulgent evening combining handmade ceramics and exceptional cheese. Create your own personalised clay cheese board, adding elegant textures, patterns and stamps before enjoying a curated tasting of five carefully selected cheeses with Janette from A Little Bit of Cheese. Enjoy a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival, with BYOB welcome. A relaxed evening of craftsmanship, conversation and beautifully curated cheese.
Your board will be glazed and fired in the studio, ready to collect approximately 3–4 weeks later.
