Hand’s On

Our series of traditional hand-building workshops. Hands-On brings together all of our one-off workshops that explore the versatility of working directly with clay by hand.

Get hands-on with stoneware clay and learn traditional techniques including pinching, coiling and slab building to create everything from mugs, bowls and vases to sculptural and functional pieces. Each workshop focuses on a different project or technique, giving you the chance to experiment, get creative and make something completely your own.

Each piece is shaped by hand, then glazed and fired in the studio, ready to take home and enjoy. A relaxed, tactile way to explore clay, whether you're completely new to pottery or looking to try something different.
