Form & Feast

Our signature series of porcelain slip-casting workshops. Form & Feast is where we explore our specialist slip-casting technique to create beautiful, functional tableware and homeware in marbled porcelain.

Using pre-made moulds and liquid porcelain slip, you’ll learn how to marble, cast and shape your own pieces, from bowls, mugs and plates to platters and other unique homeware. Each workshop explores a different piece or design, all using the specialist slip-casting technique that Applegate Studios is becoming known for.

Slip-casting is our speciality, and it’s what makes Form & Feast different. It’s a fascinating process with a completely different feel to traditional hand-building, giving you the chance to create refined, functional ceramics with beautiful marbled patterns and finishes.

Your pieces will then be glazed and fired in the studio, ready to take home and enjoy. Come and discover the art of slip-casting, and make something beautiful for your table or home.
